Positive outlook on the iMac front
Apple has agreed to replace the iMac. Yay! Once the paperwork is all processed and they have confirmation that the old one is on the way back to them, they’ll be sending us a 2.16 GHz iMac Core 2 Duo with 2 GB of memory and upgraded VRAM. We’re buying a couple of upgrades, but otherwise it’s just a replacement.
Since my performance needs are higher than Sarah’s, she’s agreed that it makes sense for my current Core Duo iMac to become hers, and the new one to replace it on my desk. Woohoo!
