Down time

My cholecystectomy (gall bladder removal) is scheduled for the afternoon of Monday, April 5th. I’ll be taking Monday through Wednesday off that week, and possibly longer if recovery takes longer than expected. Odds are good I’ll be responsive to email by Tuesday or Wednesday but I fully intend to take it easy for at least a couple of days.

    Don’t worry, you don’t really need one :-) At least, I’ve coped fine without.

    Seems like most people I know have had theirs taken out. Certainly not a big deal, just going to make that week more complicated than I want it to be in terms of what all’s going on. :)

    Wow — missing a gall bladder and a kidney. Anything else you’ll be sans? Appendix, tonsils, spleen…?

    I’ve heard of running a barebones system, but this is extreme!

    I think that’s all I’m missing. My whole stomach is there still, just most of it is disconnected. :)
